Piers Morgan furiously clashed with a guest on Good Morning Britain today as they rowed over the ‘racist’ portrayal of Meghan Markle in the media.
The controversial and outspoken host introduced a panel of guests including Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimiu to discuss the ongoing royal family controversy and Meghan Markle’s treatment in the press.
Sparks quickly began to fly as Piers and Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimiu butted heads.

Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimiu said: “You say these nasty and vile comments, filled with misogyny and you don’t take responsibility for your actions, it is not my job to teach you about racism.”
Piers said: “Listen to you, I’ll tell you what your job is, everyone is cheering you on on Twitter and you like to say it’s driven by racism but where is it?”
Dr Shola said: “If you were paying attention, of course it does exist, her son was compared to a chimpanzee.”
“Ok let’s move on,” Piers’ co-host Susanna replied, before the Arsenal fan chipped in with: “I’ll decide where we go with this interview.”

Dr Shola then furiously condemned Piers, saying: “This is what you get when you refuse to acknowledge racism.”
As Piers began to shout over her, she added: “Your words are feeding bigotry, misogyny, sexism and racism out there, and you’re not taking responsibility for how you have contributed to the so-called mess or royal crisis.”
Shola continued: “As I said before if you were paying attention, it is not my job to teach you about racism. Why do you not know where the racism is?

In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace today, the Queen said: “Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family.
“My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.
“Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives.
“It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK.
“These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
