Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has urged the fans to “respect the rules” after testing positive for the Coronavirus. “Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who are struggling in hospitals”.
In a statement released on Wednesday evening, the Bianconeri announced that Rugani had tested positive for COVID-19, known as the Coronavirus, but confirmed that he had no symptoms of the illness.
The 25-year-old, who came to Juventus from Empoli in 2015, has taken to social media to send a message to all who are worried about his situation.
“You will have read the news and that’s why I want to reassure all those who are worried about me, I’m fine,” Rugani wrote on Instagram. “At this moment, however, I feel even more the duty to thank all the doctors and nurses who are struggling in hospitals to face this emergency.
“I urge everyone to respect the rules, because this virus makes no distinctions! Let’s do it for ourselves, for our loved ones and for those around us.”
