CENTER
Jack Hughes, NJD (vs. DET) — He has three points (one goal, two assists) and five shots on goal in his past four games skating mostly with Jesper Bratt and Kyle Palmieri on the top line. Hughes has fallen short of expectations in season-long formats but remains an intriguing value play in FanDuel DFS contests and has a favorable matchup against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday.
WING
Victor Olofsson, BUF (vs. CBJ) — He is expected to return to the lineup against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday in his usual lineup placement on the top line with elite center Jack Eichel. Prior to the injury, Olofsson had 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) in 42 games and was a key contributor on the top power-play unit with nine goals on the man advantage. Olofsson is worth stacking with Eichel against the Blue Jackets, who will be without top defenseman Seth Jones (ankle) and forward Cam Atkinson (ankle).
Kailer Yamamoto, EDM (at TBL) — He has nine goals and 16 shots on goal in his past eight games mostly skating with elite forward Leon Draisaitl, who leads the NHL with 89 points (32 goals, 57 assists) in 56 games. Yamamoto has averaged at least 16 minutes per game over the span and is worth rostering as a standalone option against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
DEFENSEMAN
Jakob Chychrun, ARI (at OTT) — He’s on a five game point streak with two goals and three assists over the span. Chychrun is providing category coverage with five blocks and 17 SOG over the same stretch and has a winnable matchup against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.
GOALIE
Jack Campbell, TOR (vs. DAL) — He’s 2-0-1 with a .918 save percentage in three games with the Maple Leafs. Campbell has not yet been confirmed to start, but he’s a cost-effective option at the position against the Dallas Stars on Thursday.
