Sky: Fiorentina have signed Brazilian defender Igor for €7m on a permanent deal from SPAL.
The player will reportedly travel to Milan for his medical tonight, before he signs for Beppe Iachini’s Viola and would be ready to embark on a new adventure immediately.
SPAL and Fiorentina started negotiating a loan deal with an obligation to buy, but the Viola have allegedly agreed to pay €7m to make the 21-year-old part of the squad at the Artemio Franchi this winter.
Igor arrived in Italy from RB Salzburg and the defender has played 17 games in Serie A this term, adding three matches in the Coppa Italia, where he also contributed one goal for the Biancazzurri.
